![]() ![]() But we enjoyed hearing other tourists and at night it was quiet. We had a patio right next to our window that was a bit busy at times. The room was a bit loud, but this is to be expected in Italy and in such a busy touristic place. This was changed, and we had plenty of fresh towels daily, face towels as well as large bath towels. ![]() I've noticed previous travelers complained about the lack of towels. Our bed was comfortable and the bed sheets were very clean. I enjoyed the modern toilet and the shower, although basic was all we needed. We enjoyed staying at the hotel, we had the room above the main entrance, room 2 I believe. But in the same time the Amalfi coast lies quite south and the south is poorer and thus prices should be cheaper. We knew beforehand that the region was expensive and often thought it was unaffordable for student/budget travelers. The Amalfi Coast is a touristic mecca, whether you decide to stay at the start of it in Sorrento or towards the end in Amalfi itself. It was the fist time traveling below Rome, and going past Napoli with its "colourful" reputation. We enjoyed staying at Maria Luisa this summer. Also, the window was right at Fornillo road and thus busy with people in the morning carrying crates of drinks to the beach. ![]() ![]() ![]()
